I would love to take this class but need to ask about time upfront. I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and would be unlikely to attend a live class (which I would prefer to watching the recordings). How do you feel about a student who would only watch recordings and not be live in the classroom?
It’s not unusual for students to watch the videos and do their work and post. Some live abroad and others have conflicting work schedules. As you watch the videos you may have questions, and if you need me to illustrate anything you can ask and I will cover it in the following video as well as posting all sorts of tips and suggestions on your posts. There is a lot of daily discussion in Canvas.
Marla, I'm thrilled you decided to join in! We'll cover so much, and will do it together. The videos go slowly enough that you can work along with them, take notes, and focus. And I'm never far away :) And the class stays open on Canvas until the end of the quarter, so you have more than the 6 weeks to post work and I'm basically there every day replying, commenting, and sharing further detail.
